INSME participation at the WTA events

With a view to strengthen mutual collaboration with the World Technopolis Association - WTA,  INSME representatives will attend the following WTA events:

 Dr. Raimund Broechler, INSME Vice President, will participate at the 7^th WTA General Assembly and International Conference on "Science City's  Sustainable Development in the Era of Global Climate Change" ( September 1-4, 2010, in Hsinchu City, Chinese Taipei) 

 Mr. Paolo Anselmo, INSME President, will participate at the 7^th WTA Daejeon Hi-Tech Fair on "Green Business and Regional Economic Growth" (October 10-12, in Daejeon, Korea)

 European Enterprise Awards 2011

Aim: identify and recognise the most successful promoters of enterprise and entrepreneurship around Europe, showcase best entrepreneurship policies and practices, raise awareness of the added value of entrepreneurship, and encourage and inspire potential entrepreneurs.

Participants: National, regional or local authorities or public-private partnerships from all EU Member States including Norway, Serbia and Turkey

Industrial competitiveness for a sustainable future

Call for Tender No: ENTR/29/PP/2010/FC, Lots 1-3

Aim: To ensure that the European Commission will get at short notice relevant information, consultancy, technical assistance and research services in the following three lots:
1. Competitiveness, environment, climate change, energy and transport
2. Sustainable product policy, ecodesign and beyond
3. Competitiveness, eco-innovation and value chain sustainability

The 8^th call for trans-national projects of the ERA-NET EraSME initiative is open until September 30, 2010 with 7 participating funding programs from the following regions/countries: Austria, Flanders (Belgium), Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland,  Norway, Madrid (Spain).
The call aims to strengthen the competitive capacity of SMEs by enhancing cooperation proposals in all fields of technology.

ERA-NET CORNET 10^th Call for Trans-National Projects

The 10^th joint call for trans-national collective research project proposals of the ERA-NET CORNET initiative is open until September 30, 2010  with 5 participating funding programs from the following regions/countries: Austria, Flanders (Belgium), Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands.

The International Network for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (INSME) is a non for profit Association that promotes transnational cooperation and public-private partnership for  innovation in SMEs, involving  main stakeholders dealing with competitiveness issues: governmental bodies, international organisations, business support intermediaries and their associations/networks at subnational, national, regional and international level. The Network comprises at present 79 members based in 32 countries in 5 continents.
